You will do #1 and #2 IN CLASS ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23
Authors of children's literature use a variety of structures to present science and stories to young readers. Your assignment is to compare several children's books to identify features of these structures. The stories have been separated for you according to the organization structure.
Check out books from each of the three stations.
On a left page in your interactive notebook, jot down similarities you notice within the groups of books at each of the stations and differences you notice between the stations.
Your assignment (due Friday, February 26 by midnight):
Post a summary of your notes by hitting the discussion tab at the top of the page.
To post:
Click the "Discussion" tab at the top of this page.
Hit "+ New Post".
Put your FIRST NAME AND LAST INITIAL (no last names) in the "Subject" box.
Type a summary of your notes in the "message" box. Include your thoughts about which structure you think would work best for your own book and why that structure appeals to you. There are no right or wrong answers here--we just want to see some thoughtful answers
